You are a person to understand. Not a problem to fix.
Big questions rarely yield to one clever answer. They need space, honest attention, and sometimes a different way of looking. Start Close In brings those things together in a conversation you can return to.
Kindness with a point of view
The guide listens for what matters to you, asks one useful question at a time, and gently examines assumptions. Support does not mean agreeing with everything. It means helping you think clearly while respecting your right to choose.
Reflection that becomes something
Our original guided exercises draw on familiar life-design practices: imagining an ordinary future day, mapping energy and strengths, clarifying values, defining fears, considering regret, and exploring alternative paths. They are thinking tools, not diagnostic tests or validated predictions of happiness.
Each exercise happens in the app. You can write, draw, revisit your answers, and discuss what you notice. Legacy reflections are optional, and you can skip any prompt.
Research when facts would help
A life decision contains both personal priorities and things you can investigate. The guide helps separate them. When you choose research, it searches for useful evidence and shows sources. A source can inform a choice; it cannot tell you what to value.
Keep the next step small enough to take
Sometimes the useful outcome is a decision. Sometimes it is a conversation, a boundary, or a low-risk experiment. You do not need a complete life plan to move forward.
A guide, with limits
This is AI support, not a human therapist or emergency service. It can miss context and make mistakes. It should strengthen your judgment and your connection with people in your life. Read how your information is handled.
